SEASONAL CHANGE - HOW TO FIT CBD INTO YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

Autumn's here and winter's soon to follow!

The effects of seasonal change - such as colder temperatures can have an affect on the immune system or the shorter days and early dark nights can bring on seasonal affective disorder [SAD] known as "winter depression" because the symptoms are more apparent and tend to be more severe at this time of the year.

Cannabis with its many components such as CBD and terpenes can give us the lift we need. An oil combined with lemon or limonene for example, can be great for mood elevation whilst an oil with lavender, linalool or beta-caryophyllene can offer calming properties which can be beneficial for reducing stress and anxiety or helping to cold weather pain which can be uncomfortable and affect your quality of life.

"Taking CBD everyday can help maintain a healthy endocannabinoid system. Research indicates that a healthy system can lead to improved wellness"

Here are some of the best ways to fit CBD into your daily routine.

1: WAKE AND TAKE
Make it a morning essential. Wake up, glass of water, brush your teeth and a few drops under the tongue.

2: BREAKFAST
Add a few drops to your porridge, coffee or tea - preferably with a high fat milk such as coconut for better bioavailability.

3: ALARM CALL
Set an alarm daily. We all have busy lives - It can be hard to remember sometimes to even eat or drink! Scheduling can be a great way to allow you to just stop and pause - take a moment... and some CBD!

4: AFTER WORK DRINK
Forget the after work beer.. grab your cannabinoids! Make it a bottle of CBD you grab rather than your usual drink!

5: AND RELAX
Run a bath, feet up, soak. Sip on some herbal tea whilst relaxing in a hot bath. A few drops under the tongue before a bath and bed can really help a tired body relax, calm and soothe.

We recommend taking CBD 3 times a day to keep a continuous flow of cannabinoids into the system.

1, 3, & 5 are our favourites.. How do you take yours?
